Panama City Beach is one of the best places for wreck diving in the United States. Below the surface of the water lay wrecks of ships, barges, and bridges. These wrecks become home for many sea animals and are used for training grounds for Military personnel. Panama City Beach is home to the United States Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center.
The waters off of the beach also have natural coral reefs where divers hunt for lobster. If fresh water diving is your preference, many fresh water springs lay to the north of Panama City.
